This post is a compilation of several posts in which I've deployed my troops and vehicles onto terrain that I've built just to be able to do so in a semi-realistic setting. Along the way, I have included a hypothetical, yet plausible narrative about how such a battle might have unfolded. If you enjoy looking at pictures of toy soldiers in action and fantasize about the engagements they may have been part of, then you may get a kick out of some of these posts. BTW, if you are familiar with the book "If you give a mouse a cookie" I feel that it describes my dive into the toy soldier world quite well. I started collecting unpainted plastic figures, then I wanted some vehicles to go with them, but the vehicles (21C and then FOV) were much more more realistic than the figures, so I started painted my soldiers, and then I 'needed' better scenery to place the troops and vehicles, so I got into diorama and terrain building, which I never cease to feel like it should look more realistic and it goes on and on... That's what happens when you give a mouse a cookie. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these 'battle reports' as much as I did setting up the scenes and documenting the action. I have listed them chronologically, so some of the better dioramas may be towards the end.
